Modern Family star Ariel Winter made headlines when she got breast reduction surgery. Since, the actress has been discussing the benefits, inspiring others who had questions about the procedure. For example, consider a recent article for the Hollywood Life titled “Ariel Winter Rocks Cleavage-Baring Dress At Pre-Emmys Party After Breast Reduction.”
Samantha Wilson of Hollywood Life writes, “Ariel Winter, 17, hit both the 2015 Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party and a party hosted by Variety on September 18, rocking a lovely and low cut frock that showed off her brand-new silhouette. It’s clear why the Modern Family star was beaming all night: she looked amazing! The pre-Emmys shindig was the first event in which Ariel wore a low-cut outfit (in public) since her breast reduction surgery in June 2015. She looked beautiful, and even better, confident, as she walked the red carpet and posed for photos. Ariel’s dress was a light, gauzy, white number, that was also totally sheer on the bottom half! Matching the black straps and corseted back and side panels, you could see that she was also rocking a black bodysuit beneath her skirt. So cute! She paired the cleavage-baring look with black scrappy sandals and minimal jewelry. Her hair was done up in a voluminous ponytail, with sparkly eyeshadow the focal point of her makeup game. She looked so cute, feminine and fresh! We love everything about this look! Ariel was very vocal about her decision to get breast reduction surgery in June 2015, which took her down from a bra size of 32 F to 34 D. Her large breasts had resulted in constant back and neck pain, and at just 5’1″ tall, it wasn’t something she could handle anymore. In addition, her chest made her the focus of ridicule from people who thought she was dressing inappropriately for her age, and the target of a lot of creepy comments. Gross.”
If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you need a surgeon you can trust. Rex E. Moulton-Barrett, M.D. is internationally known and acknowledged. He is board certified with The American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and The American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Moulton-Barrett performs the breast reduction procedure under general anesthesia. This operation takes about three to four hours, and usually requires an overnight stay. Following the procedure, patients are normally able to return to work and light activities after about a week. In some cases, prescription pain medications may make patients more comfortable during the first week of recovery.
