What is Revance?
Our offices are proud to be one of the chosen first centers to offer Revance products in northern California. This company originated and has its laboratory and manufacturing facilities in Newark California, but recently moved corporate offices to Nashville.
It is unique in that the neurotoxin called DaxibotublintoxinA, unlike Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport and Xeomin, has a efficacy for up to 6 months per treatment. Daxibotox currently undergoing FDA review for clinical use in the United States.
With the same creative design Revance has developed 3 new hyaluronic acid fillers called Resilient Hyaluronic Acid (RHA): 2, 3 and 4. The technology of RHA utilized a Swizz Laboratory Teoxane designed to be long lasting – up to 15 months. Unlike predecessor hyaluronic acids such Juvederm and Restylane, these new fillers provide significantly more stretch and strength as well as duration. This means the filler moves naturally with the skin with greater flexibility.

RHA 2 is indicated for moderate fine lines and fold in the mid to deep dermis. Like other RHA products, RHA 2 was designed using Swiss technology which allows the filler to last 1.5-2 times as long as comparable dermal fillers. RHA 2 is the most flexible of the RHA fillers, yet holds its shape well in dynamic areas. This makes it useful for common concerns like nasolabial folds, perioral lines, or marionette lines.
RHA 3 is indicated for deeper moderate to severe wrinkles and folds and is placed in the mid dermis with less stretch and more strength. RHA 3 is suitable for deeper wrinkles near the nose and mouth, such more pronounced nasolabial folds or marionette lines. Its formula has a stronger consistency compared to RHA 3 while remaining flexible enough to move naturally below the skin.
RHA 4 is intended for use in the deep dermis or subcutaneous with the greatest strength and longevity for severe wrinkles and folds and is designed to add volume, for example to cheeks. While RHA 2 and 3 are appropriate for moderate to severe wrinkles and folds, RHA 4 is the best option for patients who have more severe and pronounced volume loss. RHA 4 provides a youthful appearance by restoring areas that appear hollow or sunken. Results are smooth, natural-looking, and long lasting.
