BodyTite

For people who want a tighter, more contoured look to various areas of their body, there’s a great option that doesn’t require surgery in BodyTite. This minimally invasive procedure is capable of tightening the dermis, connective tissue, and fat cells while also being capable of performing liposuction.

What is BodyTite?

BodyTite is a revolutionary radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) device that provides highly accurate body contouring and tissue rejuvenation. Combining two radiofrequency (RF) emitting parts, one on the surface of skin and one on a probe at the tip of the cannula, Dr. Moutlon-Barrett is capable of precisely stimulating different layers of tissue with customizable energy levels to achieve fine-tuned results.

Who is a Good Candidate for BodyTite?

People who have concerns such as having too much fat in a given area of the body, most commonly in the abdomen or thighs, as well as those who want to improve the look of their skin due to skin laxity or cellulite are often good candidates for BodyTite. Other areas of concern that BodyTite addresses include:

  • Arms
  • Chest (male breast reduction)
  • Knees

BodyTite patients should be in good overall health and have no underlying health conditions that would make a minimally invasive procedure like liposuction too risky to perform.

What to Expect During a BodyTite Procedure

Depending on your unique concerns, goals, and surgical plan, during a BodyTite procedure, you will be given either local or twilight anesthesia to ensure your comfort and the safety of the treatment. Once you are anesthetized, Dr. Moulton-Barrett will make several small incisions through which the BodyTite cannula can be inserted. He will monitor the energy output of both the cannula and the surface applicator to ensure consistent, personalized results.

Each body area receiving BodyTite treatment will require about 45 minutes of treatment, and multiple areas can be addressed at one time.

What to Expect During BodyTite Recovery

Your results from BodyTite will be immediate and improve for up to 12 months following your procedure, as long as you maintain your current weight and exercise regimen. Because the collagen stimulation and dermal remodeling process takes a while, your skin concerns may not immediately be addressed, although they should peak after about six months following the treatment.

BodyTite patients are released immediately following their procedure and experience little downtime, due to the process not involving extensive incisions or general anesthesia.
