FaceTite

With the development of new and highly effective medical devices and treatments for facial rejuvenation, there’s more options than ever before for people who want a tighter, more youthful complexion. One of the best options for those who aren’t ready for a full facelift but still want significant facial enhancement is FaceTite, an advanced facial contouring system that doesn’t require general anesthesia. In addition to tightening the face it has the ability to reduce unwanted facial fat and recontour the cheeks, jowls and nasolabial folds.

What is FaceTite?

FaceTite, like BodyTite, is a radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL) device that is used to tighten skin, stimulate connective tissue layers, and destroy unwanted fat cells. The device consists of two radiofrequency (RF) probes, one of which is used within the skin and one on the surface. These probes generate energy that heats the different layers of skin and other tissues precisely to provide long-lasting results due to increased collagen production and subdermal tissue remodeling.

Who is a Good Candidate for FaceTite?

People who have concerns about their facial appearance due to issues like wrinkles, scars, or sagging skin can be excellent candidates for FaceTite non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Prior to scheduling a procedure, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Rex Moulton-Barrett will ask you about your medical history and examine your area of concern to make sure you’re qualified for FaceTite. People who have underlying health conditions that make minimally invasive surgeries high-risk may not be eligible for FaceTite.

What to Expect from a FaceTite Procedure

The FaceTite procedure begins with the application of local anesthetic and the injection of a tumescent solution that serves to prep the specific facial areas and reduce the risk of bleeding. When the area is fully prepared, Dr. Moulton-Barrett makes tiny incisions to access the treatment areas with the FaceTite device. He will move the device and control the energy output of both radiofrequency probes to ensure consistent, personalized results.

Each area of the face needing rejuvenation may require an additional incision, and the radiofrequency energy is monitored to avoid negative side effects from heating the facial tissues as well as to achieve the intended results, whether destroying fat deposits or tightening skin.

What to Expect During FaceTite Recovery

One of the great things about FaceTite is that it requires very little downtime to go back to work and social activities. Many patients are back to their normal routine within two days and experience little to no pain or discomfort following their treatment.

FaceTite patients can expect to see some swelling in the treated areas for up to two weeks, and mild bruising immediately after the procedure. They may also experience redness and numbness for about 24 hours following their procedure.
