CoolSculpting results are proven, noticeable, and lasting, so you’ll look and feel great from every angle.

Freeze away fat? It comes down to science. Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues.  CoolSculpting technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.

You can reshape your body!  We will develop a customized CoolSculpting treatment plan that addresses your problem areas.  Additional sessions may further enhance your results. Your individualized treatment plan will be tailored to your body, your goals, and your budget.

It’s easy to sit back, relax and say goodbye to stubborn fat. After we select the area(s) to be treated, the device is positioned on your body and controlled cooling is applied. During your procedure, you may choose to read, check email, or even take a nap.

The CoolSculpting fat freezing procedure is completely non-surgical, so you can typically return to work and normal activities immediately.

You will like what you see. In the weeks and months following your procedure, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

Results and patient experience may vary.

See How CoolSculpting Works

Coolsculpting treatment uses controlled cooling to carefully and successfully focus on the fat cells underneath the skin while leaving the skin itself harmless. It is done only in a medical office under the care of a licensed professional.

Coolsculpting devices have smart built-in safety measures. When the skin gets too cold, the device will automatically stop from functioning.

There are specific treatment areas that coolsculpting concentrates on the abdomen, flanks/sides, double chin, inner thighs, outer thighs, and upper arms.

During a coolsculpting treatment, a physician applies an applicator onto the skin of your problem area and then it is able to suck up the skin while aiming to freeze the fat beneath the skin area. Coolsculpting, also is called cryolipolysis. The procedure is FDA-cleared to work on for the upper arms, bra and back areas, chin area, thighs, underneath the buttocks and abdomen.

During the procedure, the patient may feel suction and coldness, but it diminishes right away and fades to impassiveness. Once the treatment is done, manual massage is performed to break up the frozen fat cells.

Soreness may occur after the coolsculpting treatment. Some patients experience itchiness after a week. A treatment session lasts from 30 minutes to an hour. Patients can go back to normal activities after.

How Body Processes Fat Cells After a CoolSculpting Treatment?

After gaining or losing weight, the amount of fat cells in your body gets larger or smaller. During a coolsculpting session, there is freezing of the fat cells and they are eliminated from the body. During this process the fat cells begin to breakdown. After the procedure, the other cells in your body will eat up the dead fat cells, which are naturally cut down from the body.

Coolsculpting will not contribute to losing weight. However, when patients choose to lose unwanted fat and look slimmer, coolsculpting is advisable.

QUESTION: Am I a good candidate?

ANSWER: Good candidates have noticeable bulges in certain areas they’d like to get rid of. The CoolSculpting fat reduction procedure is specifically designed for those who have unwanted fat that resists diet and exercise. Unlike gastric bypass surgery, the CoolSculpting procedure is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese. It is, however a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. QUESTION: What areas of the body can be treated?

ANSWER: The procedure is FDA-approved to work on for the upper arms, bra and back areas, chin area, thighs, underneath the buttocks and abdomen.

QUESTION: Who is a good candidate ?

ANSWER: Coolsculpting is not good for everyone, it is able to cut down 10% to 20% percent of the focused fat in each session. It should not be confused with liposuction, which is believed to be a treatment that can diminish 70% to 90% percent of the fat.

In coolsculpting, the patient should be someone weighing at a constant weight and experiences unwanted fats that cannot be removed from normal exercising and diet. For example, if you follow a proper diet and exercise regularly, but still unable to lose stubborn body fat.

On the contrary, coolsculpting is not advisable when there is a need to lose a big amount of weight.

QUESTION: How much does the CoolSculpting procedure cost?

ANSWER: The price for CoolSculpting procedures varies depending on your areas of concern, the number of sessions needed, and your ultimate goals. We will help create a customized treatment plan, in person, that’s tailored to your body, your goals, and your budget.

QUESTION: How long is each session? How many sessions will I need?

ANSWER: We will help you create an individualized treatment plan tailored to your specific goals. The length of your CoolSculpting session will vary depending on the number of areas being treated during one visit. We may schedule additional sessions in order to meet your goals.

QUESTION: Where does the fat go? Are the results permanent?

ANSWER: Once the treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), your body processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. Once the treated fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good.

QUESTION: How is this procedure different from other weight reduction treatments?

ANSWER: It is a non-surgical treatment. Being non-invasive means that it can be undertaken at any time of the day, even during lunch break. After the process, the patient is free to resume her duties. Furthermore, there is no downtime for the purposes of recovery.

QUESTION: What does it feel like?

ANSWER: As the cooling begins during the first few minutes, you will feel pressure and intense cold. This soon dissipates. Many people read, watch videos, work on their laptop, or even take a nap during their treatment.

QUESTION: Is the CoolSculpting procedure safe?

ANSWER: The CoolSculpting procedure is FDA-cleared for the flank (love handles), abdomen, and thigh. With over one million CoolSculpting treatments performed worldwide, it is proven to be a safe and effective treatment for non-surgical fat reduction.

Following the procedure, typical side effects include temporary numbness, redness, swelling, bruising, firmness, tingling, stinging and pain. Rare side effects may also occur. The CoolSculpting procedure is not for everyone. You should not have the CoolSculpting procedure if you suffer from cryoglobulinemia or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria. The CoolSculpting procedure is not a treatment for obesity. As with any medical procedure, ask us if the CoolSculpting procedure is right for you.

QUESTION: How is CoolSculpting different from Liposuction??

Coolsculpting is non-invasive. Hence, it is characterized by minor side effects. In worst cases, the patient will feel minor bruising or sensitivity on the skin. This will take only a few weeks. On the other hand, liposuction is invasive. It comes as a full surgery where the patient is passed through the knife and anesthesia is used. The patient may develop a blood clot or may react negatively to the anesthesia used. For this reason, it is not recommended for the following groups: pregnant women, women with blood clot disorders, or those with heart complications.

Coolsculpting comes with more convenience than Liposuction. The former is administered in the outpatient facilities. The surgery is quick and painless, takes about one hour. Moreover, the sessions can be spread all through the period for the convenience of the client. On the other hand, liposuction takes almost two hours. The surgery can only be done in an in-patient facility. This is because the process of recovery runs into several days. The results from a Coolsculpting procedure are visible only after a couple of weeks. Liposuction will take several months to register tangible results.

QUESTION: Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?

ANSWER: Yes, you can. The CoolSculpting procedure is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately. Often times, patients return to work after their CoolSculpting session is over.

QUESTION: When will I see results?

ANSWER: You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after two months. But your body will still flush out fat cells and continues doing so for up to four to six months after treatment.

QUESTION: Do I need to take special supplements or follow a strict diet and exercise program?

ANSWER: No supplements or pills are required and you do not have to adopt new diet and exercise habits. Many patients feel more motivated to take care of themselves after their CoolSculpting treatment. It is as if they get a second lease on their body and want to start anew again by taking even better care of themselves.

QUESTION: What happens if I gain weight down the road?

ANSWER: Many people, after seeing the results from their CoolSculpting procedure, take even better care of themselves. However, if you do gain weight, you may gain it evenly all over your body, not just in the treated areas.1
