Prevelle Silk

Prevelle Silk, the first of the Prevelle family of injectable dermal fillers, received FDA approval in March of 2008. Prevelle Silk is intended for treatment of facial wrinkles, folds and scars and is particularly effective in treating facial fine lines in delicate areas. Prevelle Silk features a soft, compliant hyaluronic acid (HA) particle formula that injects smoothly and precisely, with minimal irritation. Purified hyaluronic acid is a natural complex sugar already found in your skin. Prevelle Silk does not contain animal products and no pre-testing is necessary before use. Prevelle Silk is a clear HA gel with lidocaine that safely generates immediate smoothing results with little or no down time. Lidocaine, a local anesthetic, is added to provide pain relief at the site of the injection. Prevelle Silk results last for three to four months.
